"Miamipedia"

Editorial and Book Binding
Miamipedia began by researching archives online for historical photographs that represented Miami throughout the decade and across generations. These archival images were thoughtfully paired with wikipedia’s basic Miami de to create a visual dialogue between past and present.

The design utilized vibrant colors reminiscent of Miami's cultural landscape—warm oranges, deep blues, and energetic pinks—creating a visual language that reflected both the vibrancy and complexity of bicultural identity.

For production, I hand-bound the publication using a saddle-stitch technique, allowing the zine to lay flat when opened. This hands-on approach to bookmaking added a tactile quality that complemented the personal nature of the content.
